Adventure Staff Privacy Policy

Adventure Staff is a workplace app operated by Adventure Media for authorized employees and managers. Your employer creates your account and assigns your access.

Account and workplace records

The app uses your workplace account, employee identifier, assigned role, and session information to sign you in and show the records and reports you are authorized to access. Records can include attendance, leave balances and requests, sick leave, and permission requests. Managers with the relevant permissions can access workplace reports, which can include employee names, client contact information, and payroll and financial information.

Location and attendance

When you tap to clock in or out, the app requests foreground location access and sends your coordinates and location accuracy to the Staff server to check the workplace boundary. The attendance record stores the attendance time and verification details such as distance, accuracy, and the permitted radius. The app does not request background location. Without a location reading that passes the workplace check, the app cannot complete the attendance action.

Requests and attachments

When you submit a request, the Staff system receives the information you provide, such as dates, reasons, and supporting documents. Sick leave attachments can contain health information. Authorized personnel use these records to process requests and administer employment.

Access and retention

Adventure Media uses the information to operate the Staff system, verify attendance, process requests, and provide authorized reports. Hosting providers process information to operate the service. Access to workplace records is restricted according to assigned roles. Records are retained as needed for workplace administration, security, and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Contact us to ask about retention of a specific record or to request access, correction, or deletion. We review deletion requests subject to applicable recordkeeping obligations.
